Leading with Inquiry for
Teachers Students Leaders

The inquiry process is a teaching practice that is used as a framework for teaching and learning with the students in our classrooms, but what happens when leaders use this philosophy to design, lead & inspire their teachers?

If our aim is to cultivate curiosity and inquiry for our students, teachers must experience a sense of wonder too.

Leading With a Lens of Inquiry

Leading With a Lens of Inquiry is about rethinking our approach to the adult learners in our buildings. It’s about having fun. It’s about asking questions. It’s about considering the value of a shared leadership approach that empowers our teachers to continually reflect and refine their teaching practice. It’s about responding to the needs, learning styles and interests of those we lead the same way we did as teachers in the classroom.

Jessica’s  journey and experience as an inquiry educator fuels her passion and global work in coaching both teachers and leaders in their roles across a variety of rich contexts. She understands the power of curiosity and how we can leverage it to guide next steps, creating the space we all need as learners as we actively engage in a reflective practice. In her bestselling book Leading with a Lens of Inquiry (published by Elevate Books Edu) she outlines the ways in which we as leaders can support and facilitate teachers in the same ways we want our teachers to engage with their students: through a lens of inquiry.
